Our friends at Beverly Hills People were at the Alpha Wear event featuring Nick Verreos, Andrae Gonzalo and Jody Watley. Here is their report.

The place was Alpha Male store on trendy Melrose and Nick and Andrae showed up first, signing copies of the Project Runway Season 2 DVD, chatting with fans and giving tips to aspiring designers who wandered in to show the guys their creations. Jody Watley showed up later, stopped to chat with Nick and Andrae and then proceeded to sign copies of her latest album CD. The mood was mellow, low-key and very friendly.
Santino was slated to appear but apparently was held up in St. Louis Airport. Nick and Andrae wondered if he had been profiled as a terrorist by paranoid airport security. Nic was asked if he had ever been profiled as a terrorist. You can read his hilarious “Gay terrorist” response at our page.
Andrae is currently writing a book and doing freelance work. Look for him to appear as a regular columnist sometime soon.
Nick will soon be designing outfits for the “Top Chef” show on t.v.
Andrae calls bloggingprojectrunway an extremely interesting site and says it serves an important role in connecting the show personalities with the fan base.
