Report From Project Runway Avenue

It seems that Tim Gunn, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia went directly from Good Morning America to "Fashion Avenue" for the street-naming ceremony. Lifetime President Andrea Wong welcomes the crowd.


The new street sign is revealed.... How many Project Runway designers and models can you spot in the crowd?


Here is the new "Project Runway Avenue" sign. There are quite a few season six and season seven designers, but season three and season one are represented as well...

• Tbone will have live play-by-play coverage of Episode 7 beginning at 10:00 p.m. This week he will be joined in the booth by special guest suzq whose wit is as quick as her fingers.

Where are Nina and Michael?

The Scarlett and I had the opportunity to ask Tim Gunn why our favorite judges have been missing. Tim explained that Nina was attending some of the European Fashion events for part of season six. Michael was also overseas (in Italy I think) sourcing fabrics for his new collection. The problem was that these trips were planned before the filming schedule for season six was determined.

We know that the challenges are filmed back to back with no time between them, so a five-day trip could easily result in missing three challenges.

I like seeing a guest judge once in a while.
