The Minx and I ran into Shear Genius Season Two Stylists Glenn Mitchell and Gail Soifer at Emmett McCarthy's boutique on Thursday. They graciously posed for photos in Emmett's designs. These girls are gorgeous aren't they?

We also enjoyed a delicious meal at Harold Dieterle's Perilla restaurant. The Top Chef winner was a little shy, but the food was delicious. Malan Breton and Amanda Fields joined us for an early dinner on Wednesday. Red more about our meal here.

Top Design premieres next Wednesday night at 10:00 - after Project Runway. I've watched the first episode of the new series and I found the designers and the new host, India Hicks, to be very compelling.
Heidi Klum has been tapped to co-host the Emmy Awards on September 21 with fellow "Best Reality Show Host" nominees Ryan Seacrest, Jeff Probst, Tom Bergeron and Howie Mandel. Our big question: who will Heidi wear?

Last but not least: We're either crazy, nuts or both but we're planning to cover Season 2 of Top Design and resurrecting our long forgotten step-blog Blogging Top Design. The best news is that we've recruited the fabulous interior designer/blogger/BPR party animal Linda Merrill from ::Surroundings:: to lead the charge. Season 2 shows great promise with the Elves at the helm and an intriguing, experienced cast (including Mrs. Ricky Schroder). Season 2 debuts on September 3 at 10:00 p.m., filling the slot after Shear Genius ends. Stop by and say hello!

Next, the Rungay boys are taking on Season Two! Be sure to watch Episode One today because the boys begin tomorrow! I'm dying to read what they have to say about Santino, Nick, Daniel V and all of our Season Two favorites.
